I have mny rows in a Col. I need 2 b able 2 use the cells with a formula & b able 2 make manual entries. But, after I make a manual entry that I'm finished with; I wan 2 b able 2 restore the cell/cells back with the formula upon the deleting of the manual entry!!! Is it possible to write a macro that could do this one cell @ a time as needed over many rows in a Col activated by deleting one cell & then returning the oginal formula 2 the cell??? Thanx 4 any "HELP" !!!

Can you give us a specific example? I'm having trouble following what you're attempting to do here. I might just not be following the question correctly, but if you were to perform a manual overwrite on a formula, wouldn't any automation that rebuilds the formula simply undo your manual update?

Step us through an example. What you start with, what change you want to make, then what the automation is expected to perform. I think we need a clear understanding on what you're starting with and what the end result is supposed to be.

"I have formulas is I2:I501, & K2:K501, however sometimes I manually override the formulas in select cells to enter a desired value. I want to invoke a macro upon the deleting of the manual override to return the orginal formula!!!" :)
