Conditional formatting to tell if value or formula

Hi, I am trying to see if there is any way I can do some conditional formatting to indicate whether a cell contains a formula or a constant. I know that I can use GoTo/Special, etc. to achieve this, but using conditional formatting would be much more useful.
I tried using =GET.CELL(48,"RC",FALSE)) as advised in a posting to this forum in 2002, but it tells me that this is not a valid function.
I have managed to use =GET.CELL(48;OFFSET(INDIRECT("RC";FALSE);0;1)) by defining it as a name in cell A1 (for instance) and it then evaluates cell A2, but this is rather clumsier than conditional formatting.
Any help gratefully appreciated.

Hi Steve, thanks for the quick reply. I'm using Excel 2010 (which is why I'm surprised that there is no built in CF function for this given the massive changes Microsoft has made to conditional formatting)
