Hello,
you can do an advanced filter -
Click: Data>Filter>Advanced Filter> Then select the List Range and select the Unique Records Only box.

In using the following...

...can it be made "smarter" to only delete the Duplicate if the value in Column 7 = "xxxx"?

One thing that I've done that has helped me in the past was something like this. It allows me to see the duplicates in column A compared to column C.
