Hi - Can someone help me- when you open up a new workboook the sheet has pale blue cell and row lines these do not print unless you elect to show gridlines in page setup before printing - my issue is I have manged to delete these line on a workbook- I have tired various methods to reinsert the lines but the sheet just looks awful when your working on it - any suggestions

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Under View (2007 or 2010) you need to make sure the show gridlines checkbox is ticked (in the show/hide area). There is a similar thing in older versions but I can't remember where it sits.

My guess woudl be that you overwrote formatting in existing sheets when you were trying to get the gridlines back - you could solve this by resetting the format by copying from a good WS.

But if it happens in new WS and new WBs that you open I dont know what you could have done - it is beyond my experience although there is also a gridlines checkbox in the display options area under the advanced tag under excel options and I would have a look at that too but I expect this is just another way of getting to the same setting as the ribon.
