Frozen Excel Spreadsheets

I use Excel 2003. Recently my spreadsheets freeze up after I run a pivot table and start copying and pasting different parts of the pivot table into another worksheet. If I email it to someone else, they can navigate the spreadsheet. I cannot activate any of the sheets and sometimes the cursor is frozen on one cell too. Any ideas how to "unfreeze" the sheet?

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.

Virginia,
There could be lot of reason that your spreadsheet frozen - how big is your pivot table, how much data must Excel recalulate after each pasting.
Try to switch off Automatic Recalculation that may help.

Thanks. I will try that. My spreadsheet is large. Probably 25,000 rows and 14 columns on this one. Maybe when we upgrade to MS Excel 2010, I will not have the problem.
