Does anyone know a formula for extracting the data between 2 points. in this case the 2 comma's.

Based on this example the following text is in A1, i need a formula in A2 to extract Jan 4, then in A3 2011, A4 09:30:50 AM, A5 5684, A6 1304825884 etc......

Using a mouse in Excel is the work equivalent of wearing a lanyard when you first get to college
You can separate that into A1, B1, C1 etc. using Data > Text to Columns, specify Delimited with comma as the delimiter.

You don't need formula, just look at the Data Tab and select Text to Columns, use the delimited and then select the comma as the separator.
