I need to hide a worksheet (tab) in an Excel file and have a passwod to unhide the sheet. I do not want the entire workbook to have a password. just the hidden sheet.

Thanks for your help

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
You can use 2 macros to do this
Code:
Sub HideMySheet()
Worksheets("mySheet").Visible = xlSheetVeryHidden
End Sub
Sub UnHideMySheet()
rspn = InputBox("Enter Password")
If rspn <> "password" Then Exit Sub
Worksheets("mySheet").Visible = xlSheetVisible
End Sub
Assign to toolbar buttons or a ShortCut Key. This will hide the sheet so it doesn't even show in the sheet list under Unprotect. It also, can only be made visible with VBA
