Hi all,

I have a named range GBP, which has a REFERS TO of =1.8

C2 has value "GBP"

When I type the formula

=Indirect(C2)

it returns #REF!.

Doesn't the indirect function work with named range?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
You have to give the indirect function something to do, I don't know what you would expect it to return. You could say =sum(indirect(C2)) to total the range.

You need EVAL (e.g., from morefunc.xll add-in)...

=EVAL(C2)
