auto complete

I would like to know if there is a way to have text get auto completed in excel but instead of using the cells located immediately above the one that you are entering in the data for (how auto complete works by default) I would like it to use a pre-defined list of cells on a different worksheet all together that I fill in. Can anyone help me with this?
