I have a list box in C11 having about 20 references. each reference has about 10 items. On selection of a particular reference in C11 the items realting to the reference should be visible in D11. I have kept reference items in a separte sheet and given name to each group of references. The list in C11 is visble like this;

cell C11 D11

ADS-3
ADS-4
ADS-5
IP-1
IP-2
IP-3
IP-4
IP-5
IP-6
IP-7
MSS-1
MSS-2

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Here is one method.
COMBO2 CONTENTS DEPEND ON COMBO1 SELECTION (without macros)
The named input range of Combo2 has a formula which changes to match Combo1 selection.
'--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Combobox1 (Forms Toolbox)
Input Range : Range as required
Cell Link : $A$12 (gives selected item number)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Cell $A$13 formula - shows value selected in Combobox1
NB. No spaces.
=INDEX(Combo1,$A$12)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Make a set of named ranges using names as Combobox1 contents
NB. No spaces
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4. Combobox2 (Forms Toolbox)
Input Range : Combo2
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. Make a named range via Insert\Name\Define
Name : Combo2
Refers To : =INDIRECT(Sheet1!$A$13)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you have already defined range names that do not match the Combobox1 values you can make a lookup table and use =VLOOKUP($A$13 .. etc in another cell to give the range name.
