Hi All,

One cool feature of 2010 is ability to (right click on dates) and Group them into Quarters.

Does anyone know how to change the Quarters to be in line with e.g. Financial Year, as opposed to fiscal years? i.e. have a start date of say June?

THANK YOU

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Hi Steve,

Would a VBA solution be an option - i.e. add a menu item to the cell right-click event?
Haven't got 2010, so not sure what you require exactly though.
What's the definition of a Financial year?

financial year DefinitionAccounting period that can start on any day of a calendar year but has twelve consecutive months (52 consecutive weeks) at the end of which account books are closed, profit or loss is computed, and financial reports are prepared for filing. It may or may not match a calendar year. Called fiscal year in the US.

well by default, when you ask a pivot table to group the dates by quarters, it always uses the calendar year i.e. starts with 1 Jan. What I need it to do is start at 1 June. CheersSteve
