Hey everyone , I was wondering if you help me. I'm having a very difficult time creating a sub procedure for the following problem.

Here it is.

to write a VBA sub procedure called Timetable to help him automate the conversion of his daily schedule to a timetable. Your sub procedure should read information stored in cells A2 to D5 and convert this data into a timetable as shown below. For your sub procedure you may use the following assumption:
-Time is displayed in military format (24 hours)
-You instructor always has 4 schedules per day
-Every meeting would start and end right on the hour (meeting would last at least

Here is a link for what the layout is suppose to be
www.wix.com/mpstorey/Timetable

thanks a lot , your help is very appreciated

okay i have the layout just like the picture that was posted up earlier..
all the infomation starts from a1 (meeting type), d1 (location), to a5(office hours), too d5 (ub3064)

the timetable starts on a8 (8:00) and the time and date located on b7-c7 the timetable stops on a8-c20

and with the code inserted, it doesnt work

i run the macro timetable and all i get is office hours ub3064 showing up in the wrong place of 19.00 to 20.00

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
Sorry, I'm having a hard time following. If you can post an example on a file sharing site like box.net, I'd be more than happy to take a look.

Without seeing your actual data set, my guess is you have a mix of text and number formats and it's throwing things off.

If you'd like to post your file on a file sharing site like box.net, I'd be more than happy to take a look, but I think that's the issue as to why you're not getting the expected results.

The problem is, you're trying to match "10" with "10:00:00 AM" and that's not going to work. I'll sort something out tomorrow and post it.
