In cell K12 I have the formula =K10-K11. If cell K10 is less than cell K11 it shoes the result with a minus sign, or a negative number, but if cell K10 is greater than cell K11 is just shoes the correct number. What I would like to do is if cell K10 is greater than cell K11 I would like the correct number shown with the plus (+) sign in front of the number. Help please!

One other issue I'm having is that I'm unable to change the color of some cells by going to the fill color icon in the ribbon on top of the worksheet. Any suggestions?

Excel Facts

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
just use the format as applied, all it does is + or - wherever you add the format

It would be easier if your format was doing the math across instead of down and stacked, but just hold down your CTRL key and select all the cells that need this format and apply it all at once.
