List permutations

Hi again.
If I use the function =PERMUT(8,2) I get an answer 56. Is there any way to list these 56 possible permutations?

When I run this, it gives me "Compile error: Sub or Function not defined" and then highlights "Buffer" in red below. I am at a loss. Thanks again.

Hi all,

Sorry to enter this topic but I got exactly the same prob, could you please help me solving this ?
Tried with the input data from VoG but still got the Compile Error.

Thanks in advance.

Did you have cell A1 selected? It ran for me, though I had to change the line indicated for pre-2007.

Hi VoG,

Using Excel 2007...unfortunately in this case

I tryed it on another comp and got an overflow error message :-(

I really need to run that code...

I'm searching the web to found a solution to my problem or to find another way (or code) to do the job...
