find and color the cells based criteria

Hi

I have data from Range E1: N25000 and i have a small list in Column Y from Y2:Y10

I need to search each value from Y2:Y10 in Range(E1:N25000) and if the value is found in the list . the cell has to be colored Yellow.

the list in Y column can increase or decrease


Please help

best to use conditional formatting with formula:
=CountIf($Y:$Y,E1)>0

You could do this using conditional formatting:

Select columns E:N and input the conditional formatting of:

=ISNUMBER(MATCH(E1,$Y$2:$Y$10,0))

list, kyle and word are actually in column Y, but not sure why my screen shot doesn't look that way?
