Field that retrieves the MAX value from a column in a Seperate Table

Here is what I did =DMax([PID_SEQUENCE],[Sequence Number]) which isn't working.

The Table name is PID_SEQUENCE
The Field/Column name is Sequence Number

I put the above formula in the Control Source

I should probably WebEx you in and let you do this! LOL I appreciate the Help, Joe.

In a separate form, I want to know what the max number (aka number of records) in the referenced table.
