I am looking for a way in excel to calculate what the value of a particular Standard deviation from the mean. For example:

Mean: 10
Standard Deviation: 1.75

Question: What would be the value of 1.75 standard deviation from 10?

Thanks!

If µ = 10 (in cell A1) and σ = 1.75 (in cell A2) then the value that is 1.75 standard deviations from 10 is =A1+1.75*A2 and =A1-1.75*A2 which will be 13.06 and 6.94 respectively.
