Hi to all.
I have many formulas listed as text with no '=" sign in front of them and each formula has a bunch of variables. I am not able to convert this formula to a useful formula and evaluate it to a value.
In A1 cell I have the formulas. here is an example: (D+.0625)+(L+.125)+(D+.0625)
In A2 I have the value of D
in A3 I have the value of L
I am able to use the SUBSTITUTE function to change the D and L to the values in A2=1 and A3=2, however, I cannot find the function EVALUATE in the newer excel to evaluate the function or the text: (1+0.0625)+(2+.125)+(1+0.625). final value to be returned is is 4.8125
I cannot use the menu on top since this workbook has a user interface and cannot be accessed while running.
I prefer not to use VBA macros since the developers of the interface have their won code and particular about us adding to it.
Thanks.
