Call Password Username before cell entry

Hi Excel Guru's,

I trying to create a paperless petty cash system. I have my sheet all setup and calculating how I want. When a user makes an entry they Enter their name in column "W".

I am trying to overcome the problem of accountability. I need to achieve a cell calls for Username and Password and if correct the persons name is entered into cell then Row is locked to prevent figures being altered etc. But also if user made mistake they need to unlock it somehow someway

Sure this achievable from snippets of info I seen online but its way beyond my abilities. I realise a determined user can circumvent this if they wanted to.

Any help\pointers would be much appreciated.

All examples I have found are for login but doesnt suit me as someone could log in but then input whatever name they want to column W

Something Like this be perfect.

But only call form when clicking in cell in Column W then insert that username.

Been looking to adapt this FILE

You can use a Change event to automatically input the user name with Environ("username"). Then you don't need to worry about the users entering the correct name.

I have put file together. Please see attached file EXAMPLE

It only needs 3 things.

1 Call form when cell clicked in column W
2 Lock Row after entry
3 Trying to work out admin password from code but cant see it

I have posted HERE also. Have it calling form now. Just working out how to insert username and lock row.
