Hi all,
Long time lurker first time poster. I have run into a glitch with conditional formatting on a date range visualization spreadsheet I got from Visualize date ranges in a calendar part 2 | Get Digital Help - Microsoft Excel resource . I took the existing conditional format referencing green date ranges and modified it to add vacation days indicated by yellow.
The issue is I have yellow now showing on non-applicable days of the month, like in the drop down for the month of February.

So far, I've tried adding another conditional format to override the non applicable days of the month by blackening the cells but it ends up coloring all the months regardless.
Conditional format formula used to format columns =$AE$5:$AF$17 to black: =AE4=""
Link to the problem child:
Book1.xlsx
Using: Win7 64bit with Excel 2010
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!!
