can't copy and paste, please help

ok so the error message says "the information cannot be pasted because the area is not the same size and shape." but it is. this message keeps popping up and i don't understand why. if i paste 1 or 2 things at time there is no problem but when i paste large amounts i get this message. i tried clicking unmerge all cells and tried again but that doesn't work. what should i do to get rid of this message?

question... do you have hidden rows in either the copy or paste area?

ok i've unhidden everything and i still get the same message
