Hi,
I have managed to create a two stage dependent list - the user can select a 'parent' product type in column AM - Select 1(e.g. 'minerals') and then a 'child' product type in the following column - Select 2 (e.g. 'earth and stone') which is 'dependent on what was selected first:

So I got that working using instructions found here:
Create dependent drop down lists containing unique distinct values in excel | Get Digital Help - Microsoft Excel resource
The method shown there does work, but only for that particular row. If I copy it down, it won't work because of how the 'select 2' part of the formula is set up.
The problem is that I need the user to be able to make these selections multiple times, all the way down all the suppliers you can see in that list above - so essentially there will need to be Select 1 and Select 2 for all 1,000 suppliers, and these lists need to operate independently of the row above it.
Is this even possible?
Any help much appreciated!!
Thanks
Alex
