Hi

I am using the beforesave function and I want to determine is the user has saved or saved as, because if they have saved as I want to be able to change a cell to the new file name before they save. Is this possible?

Excel Facts

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Try

Code:
Private Sub Workbook_BeforeSave(ByVal SaveAsUI As Boolean, Cancel As Boolean)
If Not SaveAsUI Then
'
' do stuff
'
End If
End Sub
