I need to be able to insert a two-page Word document into a worksheet. I tried inserting the document as an object, but I only get part of it to show up.

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Phantom1975,

It´s unclear (at least for me) what You up to...

Q1: What is the content of the word-document?
Q2: Does the size vary or is it fix - i e 2 pages only?
Q3: Is it landscape-format or...?
Q4: Specific formatting?
Q5: Doing it manually or via VBA?

Kind regards,
Dennis

Don't quite understand what you're asking. Below is a Word document copied and pasted into Excel. Widened column A and all cells in column A set to "Wrap text".

It looks stretched here, but in the real Excel sheet, the text is wrapped.

Okey dokey. I have a Word document that my reps print out that is two pages. I am creating an Excel Workbook that has a compilation of tools for my reps. I would like to integrate this Word document into my Workbook so that my reps only have this Workbook for all of their needs. I need to include this Word document in such a way that it will look and print EXACTLY the same way it looks and prints within Word. I envisioned a worksheet in Page Break Preview mode that will show both pages just like it does in Word.

Does this make more sense?

All righty, dightty, I've got it.

Go to the cell in column A where you want to insert the Word document.

Click on Insert/Object/Create from file.

Browse to your Word file and single-click it, then click on "Insert" and then "O.K.".

Viola!

Edit: And yes, you can even reformat the text after insertion. Double click in the box and the Excel toobars above turn into Word toolbars. Tanfastic!

I'd attach a Colo-ized version but I don't think it will convert objects. Let me know if you want me to e-mail you the file.

I'm a step ahead of you. I've done that and only a portion of page 1 appears. The object has sizing tools on it, but it only seems to stretch it. There are no properties to the object so that I can tweak it that way.

I see what you mean. Just tried inserting a 6 page Word document and it only inserted the first page. Maybe there's some kind of limit to the characters that can be inserted in a box, or, more likely, something to do with a page-break, 'cause there's where my insertion ended.

What you could do is play around with the Word document, Save As twice with different names, and then delete the second page from one and the first page from the next, and Insert/Object twice.

Or, I could give you Billie Boy's home number and we can get everyone on the Board to call him for a fix.
