Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.

In C1 enter:

=A1&CHAR(10)&B1

Check Wrap text (for the formula cell) on the Alignment tab under Format|Cells.

Hi there

Does anyone know how to show where the line break occurs in the excel cell. I.e. I want the square symbol which shows where the line break occurs in the excel cell.

Thanks
