Excel Facts

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
One way to do this is by closing all of the other workbooks in Excel and search for ":\". Basically it is looking for all of the D:\Directories\Whatever. Someone else might have a better solution to this...

Hope this helps!

If you go to the Tools/Options menu item, select the View tab. Under the Windows Options group click on the Formulas box so that it is marked.

This will show the formulas in your cells rather than the value. You can glance through the sheet and visually see any links.

That's the manual way of doing it anyway.

Thanks, is was so easy when i searched for ":\".

fterry: Ctrl+j gives the formulas i the cells, (norwegian language) one more time switch back to value!
