Hello:

Hoping someone can help. I'm not sure if I need a form or not.

In column A I have (example below)

Name:
Title:
Address:
City:
Phone number:

In Column B, I want them to be able to tab into this area to enter the information that is needed from Column A. But when I click the tab key, it keeps on tabbing onto another worksheet. I just need the tab to stay in Column B, but keep going down to the end of the page.

That's why I'm not sure if I need a form or what I need.

Thanks for anyone's help.

Susan

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
What version of Excel are you using. I think from 2002 onwards if you set the cells in column B to be unlocked (format>cells>protection - uncheck the Locked box) then protect the worksheet and make sure that the option for users to select locked cells is turned off.

Then, as you should only be able to select the unlocked cells in column B, pressing tab should automatically move you down to the next row in the column.

However, depending on your specific requirements, it may be more appropriate to create a UserForm.

Hi, Susan,
Welcome to the Board !!!!!

Not sure why your tab would go to another sheet.
Why not use the enter or return key?

Anyway you can select your cells and use "tab" (or enter or return) to move through them.

and make sure that the option for users to select locked cells is turned off.

Then, as you should only be able to select the unlocked cells in column B, pressing tab should automatically move you down to the next row in the column.
Even if you do not uncheck the option, tab will move through the unprotected cells only: that's how it works for me.

kind regards,
Erik
