I assume you are adding your page number in the Header or footer. If so try this. Go to the bottom of page 4 of your document and select Insert then Break. Then select Continous. Your document now has two sections and section 2 which starts at page 5 will now be numbered 1. Unfortunatly pages 1 thru 4 will be numbered 1 thru 4 also.
Try using Microsoft Binder. It has been a while since I used it, but you can sperate pages 1 thu 4 as one documnet with no numbers and the rest of the pages as another document with page numbers and bring them together as as one 'virtual' document with Binder.
