I've been getting the run around at work and am now resorting here to try to find an answer.

The issue is that my work profile was updated, therefore all of my other files were no longer accessible. I had one of our IT guys dump all my documents into my new profile, but now I can't open then, predom Excel spreadsheets. Every time I try to open them it says access denied, and I'm thinking it is because it was created under the old profile name. I am in desperate need of accessing these excel documents now that my old profile is no longer accessible. The docs are all on my desktop of my new profile, but just can't open them and I have tried everything I can think of. Any tips, advice, work arounds?

Thanks in advance

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
I do not see the problem, if the IT Dept has made a new profile i assume on H Drive then when You log in it will be a blank data set and quite rightly

Now The IT dept need to transfer from back ups or archive directory before the change your files

IE
My Docs
PTS Files
Access rights via group policies etc

Have a work with the buddy
