erik, that works great.............

But i dont want it to delete the entire row only the dupicate from the cell beneath,

i need to have the complete list but minus the duplicates in one certain col,
but on each diffrent sheet that i use, the column differs, so was wondering if a duplicate macro could be made that runs off of the active cell method ?

Do you really want to delete this data? Or do you simply want to make the presentation a little cleaner? Take a look at the example here (scroll down just a smidge).

If you really do want to delete the data, then fine, Erik or I can show you how to do that, no problem. But if you are really only trying to clean up how it looks, you may find that you want to leave the data in place for other requirements. The gist of the message I xref'd here is to use Conditional Formatting to format duplicates as White font on White fill.

Please advise as to your true requirements. And, as Erik has already mentioned, if you could use COLO's utility to post some sample data (both what you've got now and what your desired outcome would look like) folks here will get you where you wanna go a lot more quickly...
