Hi all,
I recently changed PCs (upgrade) and software but I am now experiencing problems when I change previously 'self certified' macros.
I can only assume that the Digital Certificate remains on my old PC .. but can I get hold of it and transfer it to my new PC? If so which folder is it in?
Any comments welcome after all I can not be the only person to have suffered this problem!
Cheers
Simon

Simon,

Were you ever able to successfully transfer your digital signature? Your post and that recommended thread are the closest I've come after too many hours of Googling and trying the MSKB. But when I go to the Contents tab in IE's properties dialog box and click on Certificates... and try to export... I get a wizard. But that wizard will not let me include my private key, which per the article you reference, one must include in order to successfully export the thing.

FWIW - right after I posted the above, I received an e-mail from Mr. Bob Flisser at http://www.nerdybooks.com/ letting me know that ya can't transfer self certificates. So, Simon, if you did manage it let us know. If you didn't manage it, then you probably couldn't get there from here...

Regards,
