Hey sorry about this im only a student and i aint very good at this whole excel thing, im making a double sheet workbook - first sheet a data input screen for specifications of a driveway, the second screen a quotation for said driveway.
Im stuck on The number of paving blocks required which = (area of driveway / area of paving block) + extra 5%
This has to be on the quotation page (sheet 2) but the area of paving block is on the data input screen (sheet1) and i am completely unaware of a formula capabale of handaling said percentage adding on. If anyone would like to know the figures they are:
84 (area of driveway) / 0.02 (area of paving stone) + the extra 5%
the area of the driveway is sheet 2 (B27) the area of paving stone is sheet one. in this table:
I J K
21 Paving Area Price
22 Natual Brick 0.02 £0.50
23 Clay Brick 0.02 £0.75
24 Yorkstone Cobble 0.08 £0.75
25 Natural granite cobble0.08 £0.75
26 Concrete slabs 0.01 £0.40
27 Natural slabs 0.36 £5.50
28 Clay slabs 0.36 £7.50
29 Yorkstone Slabs 0.36 £7.50
