To delete things, you'll need a VBA [ macro ] solution.

Give more details - how many rows, is it always keep the last 12 months, where the month designation is, etc.

the worksheet looks something like the following.....

jan feb march....all the way to dec
a consumption new launch
b
c
d
e
f

the current sheet has data from jan 2004 to dec 2004.....but i want the update to include the jan 05's data and not jan 2004's data (but not deleting jan 2004)

So, you just want to keep the 12 right-most columns, should there be more than 12?
