Hi,

I am using a program which produces a file called info1 (no extention).

I know that it can be seen via Accsess, but I do not have Access.

When trying to import this file to Excel - I get gibberish

How can I proccess this data file in Excel vithout having or converting it first in Access?

Is there any freeware utility to make Access files compatible with Excel?

Thank you in advance,

Eli

Hi,

You can query Access files by using Excel's query functionality:

Click, Data, Get External Data/Import External Data (depends on your version of Excel), New Database Query. This should display a dialog box called 'Choose Data Source'. Choose MS Access Database and then browse to your file. You can then query the file's tables/fields.

Let me know how you get on,

Dan
