The extension doesn't work for me. Using FireFox 1.0. Does it work for you Juan, or Aladin?

Nope. I didn't succeed with the second link Juan provided either.

Another issue: Firefox (Mozilla and Netscape for that matter) seems unable to fit the page to the screen (requires scrolling sidewise too often).

PS. Thunderbird is just great.

Yes, Mozilla has some CSS issues. I believe they will be worked out in time. And Thunderbird is very nice. No calendar though. :( But very pleased with it.

They're working on that, actually:

I never really liked Outlook, myself. It has too much bloat for my tastes for personal use. I didn't really even use it's calendar when I had it at work (we switched to Lotus Notes several years ago--I use that calendar all the time though. Weird).

At home I stayed with Outlook Express until I got bored and downloaded Firefox/Thunderbird to play with one day several months ago. Been with it ever since. Not having a calendar in Thunderbird isn't a problem for me in the least :)

Chas,

Are you able to copy with Firefox correctly to Excel an exhibit posted with HtmlMaker on the board?

Sorry for late reply; no I was NOT able to copy an exhibit posted with HtmlMaker.

I have NOT tried the other suggestions as yet.

Thanks,
Chas

Just a follow up,

"Stuck with Netscape" Do you prefer MS explorer? I have just been "exploring" with other browsers.
Why are you stuck? Can't you download IE?

Here's a snippet of Microsoft's Clint Covington take on IE versus Netscape:

Netscape doesn't come close to providing the rich object model
needed to build the kind of pages we build. They didn't even support basic
2-d positioning until the latest release (6.0). Also, we have seen their
market share drop more and more--especially among corporations.
Is he biased? Perhaps, but from what I know of the various available product offerings, I'd have to agree with him.

I cringe at the though of trying to replicate the following with a Netscape interface:

That's my two pennies on the matter. :)
