Multiple chart types on one chart

Bonjour!

Can you describe how your data is set up (where on the sheet etc). An example would help...

I have 3 columns (turnover) and 12 lines (months).

For the moment, my chart shows 2006 data (1 column) and 2007 data making 2 bars for each month. The idea is to compare 2006vs2007 month by month.

But my 2007 data is the sum of two columns : i would like the 2007 bar to be split between the two elements of this sum.

I dont want 3 bars for each month, because I want to compare 06vs07.

Is that any clearer ?

Here is a pic of how my data is organised. The 2007 bar represents the "total" column. But the total column is itself the sum of "Comm" + "Laser"
I would like the 2007 Bars to reflect this. So I need 2007 bars to be split in 2, Comm & Laser, the total of the 2 being equal to what it is now.

Sorry again, but this time I cant be any clearer.

Hi Benny,

You just select the entire table, as you normally do, and then select "column" as Chart type and "Stacked column" as your sub-type.

I would post a screen dump, but I dont know how, but basically its just the same routine as when you create your standard chart...

I hope you'll work it out...
