I have several data sheets that I would like to be able to sort in various ways. I would like to add one or more buttons on the sheet that will sort one or more of the tables in specific ways. What is the best (and simplest) way to do that?

Thanks

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
Record a macro doing each sort. Add that code to each Button's code. If you have variations on each sort, like specifying a certain name for a filter, you can alter the code to read a cell or something.

That's what I thought. I think I did that once a long time ago. I was hoping that there might be a way to save the instructions (code?) in the button itself.

I'll get to work on the macro. I may be back... 🤔🤨🤔🤨

Thanks
